NDA 2026 at a Glance

The NDA 2026 exam is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) for college kids who want to join the Indian Army, Navy or Air Force after 12th.

NDA 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must satisfy the eligibility conditions prescribed by UPSC.

1. Nationality

Applicants must fulfill the nationality requirements specified in the official notification.

2. Age Limit

The age criteria are announced in the UPSC NDA notification for each examination cycle.

3. Educational Qualification

Army Wing

  1. Passed or appearing in Class 12 from a recognized board.

Air Force & Naval Wings

  1. Passed or appearing in Class 12 with Physics and Mathematics.

4. Marital Status

Only unmarried candidates are eligible as per UPSC guidelines.

NDA for Girls

The creation of NDA for girls has given brilliant prospects to female candidates to come and become officers within the Indian Armed Forces.

If a woman fulfills the required age, teaching qualification and medical degree, she can apply for the NDA exam. The written test, SSB interview, clinical examination, and the most final identification process are the same for boys and girls.

NDA 2026 Selection Process

The NDA selection process consists of four stages:

Stage 1: Written Examination
